Circle the City in London – A 10km walk in support of Christian Aid
On the 19th May, Chigwell Tours joining 500 other people in support in CA annual fundraising walk through the city of London.
Some of the funds would be uses to support mothers in Sierra Leone, by providing medical equipment and training, and helps mothers with the safe deliver of their children.
There are 22 churches in the city of London, we visited 12 of these and we also visited parks. The churches that we visited: St Mary-le-Bow, St Paul’s Cathedral, St Bride, Temple Chirch, St Lawrence Jewry, St Margaret Lothbury, Dutch Church, St Botolph without Bishopsgate, St Botolph without Aldgate, All Harriws by the Tower, St James Garlickhythe, and St Mary Aldermary.
The Parks we visited were: Postman’s Park, Christchurch Greyfriars and St Dunstan in the East Garden.
At the end of this 10km walking tour, we receive a medal.
