Description of Tour:

Step back in time and experience the romance of travel from a time gone by as you soak up a stunning Buckinghamshire  steam train ride on this  immaculate  ride as part of this tour.

The Bucks Rail is a Heritage train, operated   by a dedicated staff team of steam and rail enthusiast and passionate volunteers,  passionate about the rail and  keen to share  their knowledge of yester year rail travel..

Your day begins  at the  Rail centre Quainton  Buckinghamshire.

After registration,  and short comfort break,guests will be met and given an informative guided tour of the centre and  the museum( This is optional but highly recommended.

As part of the tour, guests will  Visit the beautiful glass-roofed visitor centre with more to see, including meticulously restored engines and carriages from times past.

Guests will Visit the carriages and test  their knowledge.

Rail enthusiast  will have plenty to occupy their time.

Guests will then have the opportunity to explore the miniature rail way centre,the museum shop and the picnic area weather permitting.

The highlight of the tour, will be   the unlimited steam train rides followed by an afternoon tea.

The tour includes unlimited steam train rides ; an opportunity to travel on the miniature rail.

To enhance your experience and add value to your Bucks visit, there is local working Windmill to visit.

Waddesdon Manor, the amazing French Chateau and originally owed by the Rothchilds, there a the opportunity to visit the large and extensive grounds of this Manor; close by 7 mins ride away if self driving.

Your ticket allows you to enjoy the  museum; explore the miniature mini railway; travel extensively  the steam train and enjoy your afternoon tea at the restaurant\cafe.

This is a self guided tour with option for guests to have a guided tour of the museum. ; Customers can have unlimited steam train rides.

11am- Arrival at the Bucks Railcentre ticket office and collect their tickets from the office.

11.30am – Optional Guided Tour of Museum.

12.30 Explore the grounds

1.00- 3.00;Steam train Rides and explore the miniature railway.
