Description of Tour:
Step back in time and experience the romance of travel from a time gone by as you soak up a stunning Buckinghamshire Railway steam train ride on this immaculate ride as part of this tour.
The Bucks Rail is a Heritage train, operated by a dedicated staff team of steam and rail enthusiasts and passionate volunteers, passionate about the rail and keen to share their knowledge of yesteryear rail travel.
Suggested Itinerary
10.30. Arrival at the Bucks Rail Centre, Quainton, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP22 4BY (satnav postcode)
to collect ticket from Ticket office, and Afternoon Tea Voucher.

You can organise your itinerary ensuring that you see all that is available.
Your afternoon tea, will be at 2.30pm.
Visit the beautiful glass-roofed visitor centre with more to see, including meticulously restored engines and carriages from times past. Guests will Visit the carriages and test their knowledge. Rail enthusiasts will have plenty to occupy their time.
Travel on the Steam trains
Unlimited steam train rides; also, an opportunity to travel on the miniature rail.

After your tour of the site and completion of your steam journey, you can take advantage of the other attractions within the centre including the beautiful working Windmill within walking distance.
Why not also add Waddesdon Manor to your visit? The Manor is an amazing French Chateau and originally owned by the Rothschilds is now a National Trust building. Experience its wonderful and extensive grounds and magnificent gardens.
Waddesdon Manor is just a 7 mins ride by car\taxi, or 20 mins walk.

There is ample car parking at the rail centre.
Vintage Car Rally
Henley on Thames Vintage Rally, periodically, have their car show on the grounds.
This is an independent event organised by the Vintage Car Rally members each year.
The cars will be parked in the car park.
Visitors can wonder, admire, and engage with the owners.
