Tour description
With over 500 years of history unravelling before your eyes, this interactive tour, will start in Holborn, where you will meet your tour guide just outside the Shakespeare Head (next to Holborn Underground station).
You will continue to the Iconic United Grand Lodge of England and the WW1 Memorial, (the memorial to the 3225 Free Masons who died in active service during WW1). Be amazed by your tour of this most iconic of the Free Masonic iconic London Templar, lodges, famous for its exhibition, library and museum and exhibits. The entrance fee is included in your tour price. From here, you will have the option to take a sneaky peep into London’s oldest shop favoured by Charles Dickens.
Your afternoon tour will continue with the free mason’s theme and will include a visit to the Temple Church, believed to be the mother of “common law”. There will be plenty of time to enjoy and explore the intriguing free Masonic exhibits. Discover the linkages between free masons and links to the DaVinci Code.
The tour finishes with lunch at the Knights Templar Pub with its links to the DaVinci Code film and book.
