Tour Description
This is a historical tour walk following the trail of the old Father Thames (Thames River), to highlight the importance of communities that grew along the river as it flowed to Wapping. Prospect of Whitby is a pub/restaurant with an historical importance in the development of Arts (Shakespeare). The Prospect of Whitby has gained significant popularity because of its United States connection, established during World War.
Tour highlights.
● Visit Paternoster Square/St Paul’s Churchyard
● Millennium Bridge walkover to Southbank
● Visit the Old Globe
● Borough Market (eateries and comfort break)
● Crossover London Bridge to Tower of London then Catherine docks/Wapping
● Lunch at Famous Prospect of Wapping (not included)
● (Optional Extra): Walk to Wapping station via Canada Waters, to Stratford Olympic Stadium & West Fields Shopping Centre
