The Bucks Rail is a heritage train that is operated by a dedicated team of steam and rail enthusiasts, as well as passionate volunteers. They are keen to share their knowledge and have plenty to discuss on yester year rail travel.
Your day begins under the beautiful glass-domed museum with more to see than you can count, including meticulously restored engines and carriages from times past. As part of the tour, guests will have the opportunity to explore the miniature railway centre, the museum shop and the picnic area weather permitting. However the highlight of the tour is no doubt UNLIMITED ACCESS to the steam train rides follow by an afternoon tea.
To enhance your experience and add value to your Bucks visit, there is local working Windmill to visit.
Waddesdon Manor, the amazing French Chateau and originally owned by the Rothchilds, there an opportunity to visit the large and extensive grounds of this Manor; close by 7 mins ride away if self-driving.
