London, In all it’s Glory

London in all its glory

First of all we went to the amazing St Paul Cathedral. St Paul Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral which was designed by Sir Christopher Wren during the 17th century.  This Cathedral welcomed the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. From St Paul’s we walked for 20 minutes to Old Bailey which has amazing architecture. The Old Bailey is The Central Criminal Court of England and Wales, it is like Palais de Justice in France. We also saw the extraordinary bank of England. The bank of England  is the central bank of United Kingdom .The bank of England is the equivalent of La banque de France.  Established in 1694, it is the second oldest central bank in the world. Like us others tourists all others the world come to see it. Continuing with our tour from the bank of England we cross the River Thames on the Tower Bridge. The Tower Bridge is the place to visit in London. It is the only bridge in London who can open and let big ship go under. It took 8 years to build Tower Bridge from 1886 to 1894.He has become an iconic symbol of London.

From here we saw the City Hall which is very modern in contrast with the Mairie de Paris which is more ancient. The  City Hall is the headquarters of the Greater London Authority, which comprises the Mayor of London and the London Assembly. It is located in Southwark. It was designed by Norman Foster and opened in July 2002, two years after the Greater London Authority was created. From the Tower bridge we can see the shard the tallest building in London, and the Tower of London. French people must visit it because they got a lot of French and Italian people at the shard.

Before we walked to go home we saw the Guy’s hospital. Guy's Hospital is a largest hospital in the Southwark in central London.

There are a lot of place to visit like Trafalgar square, London Eye, Oxford Circus Westfield which is  the biggest shopping Center in London and many more...
