of Rochester will once again transform into a magical Victorian wonderland for the Dickensian Christmas
Festival. This much-loved event brings the spirit of Charles Dickens’ classic tales to life, filling the air with
festive cheer, the glow of gaslights, and the aroma of roasted chestnuts and mulled wine.

Stroll through cobbled lanes alive with Victorian-clad characters, carol singers, and roaming performers
straight from Dickens’ novels from Scrooge and Tiny Tim to chimney sweeps and street musicians.
Browse the traditional market stalls offering handmade gifts, Victorian toys, and festive treats, and
indulge in a delicious selection of Dickens-era food and drink. Every detail captures the warmth,
