At Chigwell Tours, we have hosted an annual 10km fundraising walk every year since 2016 to raise money for charities that make a positive impact. We have gained experience and a track record for hosting successful fundraising walks that supports worthy causes both locally and internationally. This year marks our eight annual 10km fundraising walk and we want you to join us at Hainault Forest on Sunday 24th September 2023 from 3pm to 6pm.  

We are fundraising to support Haven House and World Child Cancer  

Some Interesting Facts… to help you to join us on this fun by great cause. 

In the UK,  Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity funds research for life-saving cures for childhood cancer and refurbishes important medical centres to deliver world-class care for some of the UK’s most seriously ill children. 

Working with other children childhood cancer organisations, 80% of  children with cancer, survie and need support.  Their families  are not forgotten. surviving childhood  

In developing countries, the story is very different. 

World Child Cancer, estimate, that in developing countries,  the chance of surviving cancer  can be as low as 10%.   Over 1,000 young lives are lost to cancer every day, which is why World Child Cancer is working to increase the chance of survival to at least 60% by 2030. 

We are supporting World Child Cancer work in Ghana, West Africa. 

The funds raise will  go to support the vital care and support of these 2 charities.
