Hainault Forest 10km Fundraising Sponsored Walk – Sunday 5th August. Sart at 12 noon; Meeting Point: The Café in Hainault Forest
We are standing in support of the innocent families and siblings whose lives have been devastated by untimely death of a loved one in the prime of life due to gun and knife crime.
Background
The rise in gun and knife crime this year has truly shocked the nation, causing calls for greater protection for all. As old and new initiatives continue to be tried, deaths of black boys rise.
Many of us stand on the outside and can’t begin to comprehend what it is like to be an innocent family who have become victims.
These families are now looking at the shattered broken prism of dreams and what could have been.
Whichever side of the fence you stand, we are here to support those living the devastation.
Our 10km walk, is in support of siblings and families who have lost loved ones, mostly black boys, to gun and knife crime .
Our focus is the families in East London and mothers in South London.
We are working in partnership with The Flavasum Trust and Another Night of Sisterhood. They will receive the funds raised from our walk.
